Professional Rugby Career: Join IRANZ Training
For
aspiring professional players, there are of course numerous rugby academies
throughout the world which dispense an excellent training. One of the very
best way certainly is to join top clubs academies, like in Europe (France,
England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland), or provincial academies in Australia and
New Zealand. Selection is tough, and level high, but those academies are
certainly the best way to follow the path of professionalism once the young
player is ready for it, physically, technically and mentally.
We can only highly recommend the different players'
courses format at the International Rugby Academy of
Wellington, New Zealand, as Frederick participated in the High
Performance Coaches' Course, and he saw first hand the up to
date, hands on players' training, with a definite curriculum bringing young
players not only at the best they can be, but also prepare them for the
professional steps coming their way.
The facilities are excellent, and the level of
attention and coaching with personal positional coaching made by former
international players with tremendous experience and pedagogical skills,
will ensure for the participants, a perfect individual and team focused
training.

The
High Performance Players' Course is run twice a year at the Academy
in June and July in conjunction with a High Performance Coaches' Course.
Players and coaches are coming from all over the world, giving a great
incentive and pedagogical synergie to the programs in a non competitive
environment.
Other team courses are run on a regular basis to
enhance team performances with players and their coaching staff.

Very
innovative and efficient training methods were implemented in the Players'
course. These methods are the fruit of over a decade of skills coaching from
Dave Ellis, techniques he compiled in a simple to complex method of
teaching basic rugby motor skills. Dave is a real role model for fitness and
skills development and his methods could be adapted to any level of
training. He is also available for special team development in New Zealand
or would travel to location as an advisor.

Different courses format are proposed from the High
Performance Players and Coaches Courses, respectively 3 and 2 weeks, twice a
year in June and July, to customized courses for teams wishing to extend
their skills, stamina and cohesion to achieve faster their goals in the
game.
There is also an Advanced Player course, shorter than
